Is a Serengeti hot air balloon safari included?▾
A balloon safari is not included in the base price but is strongly recommended and easily arranged as an add-on (approximately $580 per person). Balloon flights launch at dawn, float over the Serengeti for approximately 1 hour, and finish with a champagne bush breakfast on the plains. It is one of the most extraordinary experiences in Africa and perfectly complements this luxury itinerary.
Can the itinerary be extended or customised?▾
Absolutely — this itinerary is a starting point and can be extended with additional days in any park, a private fly-camp experience, walking safaris, or a Zanzibar beach extension. We can also incorporate a Great Migration northern Serengeti add-on during peak crossing season (July–October) or a calving season extension (January–March). Is there a honeymoon or anniversary upgrade available?▾

What is the guide-to-guest ratio on this safari?▾
On this exclusive luxury package, you have a dedicated private senior guide assigned solely to your group for the entire 8 days. Your guide does not share a vehicle or attention with any other guests. The guide has a minimum of 15 years of Northern Circuit experience, advanced wildlife knowledge, and is typically also an accomplished nature photographer who can advise on camera settings and positioning.
What is the visa situation for Tanzania?▾
Most nationalities require a tourist visa for Tanzania, available on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or in advance via the Tanzania e-Visa portal (evisa.immigration.go.tz).
