This policy explains how cancellations and changes are handled for safaris, Kilimanjaro treks, accommodation bookings, transfers, and related travel services arranged by Daydream Tours & Safaris.

General Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on the confirmed itinerary, travel dates, supplier rules, park fees, permit conditions, and how close the cancellation is to the start date. Your written proposal or invoice may include trip-specific terms that apply to your booking.

Deposits

Deposits are used to secure lodges, camps, guides, permits, park arrangements, and operational planning. Some deposits may be non-refundable once paid to suppliers or authorities.

Accommodation And Supplier Fees

Lodges, camps, airlines, park authorities, and third-party suppliers may apply their own cancellation fees. Daydream Tours & Safaris will communicate any supplier rules that apply to your confirmed itinerary.

Kilimanjaro Treks

Kilimanjaro bookings may include mountain crew arrangements, park fees, rescue fees, camping or hut reservations, and equipment preparation. Late cancellations may result in higher charges because many services are committed in advance.

Changes By The Traveller

Date changes, route changes, accommodation changes, guest-number changes, and activity changes are subject to availability and any additional costs from suppliers. We will do our best to adjust plans fairly and transparently.

Changes Beyond Our Control

If severe weather, road conditions, safety concerns, illness, government rules, park restrictions, or other force majeure events affect your trip, Daydream Tours & Safaris may adjust the itinerary to protect guest safety and preserve the travel experience where possible.

Refunds

Any refund due will be calculated after deducting non-refundable supplier costs, bank charges, permit costs, park fees, and services already provided. Refund processing times may vary depending on payment method and supplier timelines.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, evacuation, delayed flights, and lost baggage.

How To Cancel

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to info@daydreamtoursandsafaris.com. The cancellation date is the date Daydream Tours & Safaris receives the written request.
